Interesting views from a runner

...a visiting professor for one of my grad school classes is a world expert on Doping and performance enhancing drug use... In fact, in several weeks he is going to take us through the doping of past Tour de France champ Michael Rasmussen, as he is writing a book on the topic and has all the doping schedules and such of Rasmussen.

Is this news BTW?

I should add that that isn't the most interesting thing the blogger writes.
 
He has very detailed insights, and I always feel a little smarter after reading from his blog. He's particularly good as asking questions, and questioning "standard" training practices in light of new understandings.

If I had to pick a criticism, I wish he gave more perspectives beyond science, about the culture of running and coaching runners. He's coached some high level runners, and I'm curious to read his perspective beyond the science of training. Just me though,
