No, it's what we can expect for the next weeks/months. It's about keeping the Livestrong and/or Lance endorsed brand customers confused. It's about positioning USADA as the big bad Goliath fighting the little David Cancer Messiah Jesus Lance.

And it's what Lehane/Fabiani do. Check this recent Batman Romney Bane Baine BS. Anyone think we're conspiracy freaks here, think again...

The tellling bit is this

"In conclusion, Herman points to a 'call to arms' with the release of the USADA report, warning that public support is with Armstrong.

"As USADA ramps up its press leaks and press releases this week and then trots out what it has pressured and coerced from others, we know that fair minded people will see whatever USADA issues is far from a "reasoned decision" and is instead further evidence of the vendetta by USADA and its talebearers seeking publicity by targeting Mr. Armstrong, his business relations and the Lance Armstrong Foundation."

Clear admission it's about public perception, hence the Fabiani/Lehane approach on polarizing & confusing the audience with big tobacco Goliath lawyers vs little David Cancer Jesus Messiah Lance messaging. To keep the Livestrong/Lance endorsed brand consumer confused and loyal throughout this USADA news period.

Fabiani risks blowback

LA's team is associating USADA with Big Tobacco and then raising the spectre of Big Tobacco/USADA vs Anti Tobacco knight Lance.

I am sure that some of Fabiani's/Lehane's/Herman's past clients are far from gleaming white clean. Shall we and the general public seek to make similar parallels???

A party throws enough mud... invites repayment in spades!

Edit: Race Radio has noted the flaws in Fabiani's/Lehane's/Herman's assertions in the current LA thread. Check out LA's reps' dealings with Big Tobacco.

In short, the lance haters are not prepared for a rebuttal at all are they? Just as predicted.

After all, any conflict of interest is proof of UCI corruption, the apparent same thing in USADA? Hmm .. a fundamentally different standard is it?

This is not about evidence, its about catching the white whale of cycling.

You hummm alot. Does that drown out the other voices in your head? I'm not a hater and you patently avoid dealing with facts that are real. USADA didn't make this case...many angry former clean riders did. That there are as many willing witnesses that aren't "serial perjurors" is what the case can be based on and likely is. If you're a paid tool of the Fabiani machine you need to up your game. Otherwise; you'd just be an unpaid version.

Good to see that Lance has moved on. That he is no longer going to pay attention to these things or to continue fighting these fights.

Yep.

For someone who is not fighting the charges against him (Armstrong),he is still doing a lot of fighting.

From Race on the other thread. Oh the irony.

Funny that Wonderboy's paid liars point out USADA's outside leagal once did work for a tobacco client.

Armstrong main lobbyist and lawyer is Patton Boggs

Cigarette manufacturer Vector Group paid Patton Boggs $170,000 in 2010 to do lobby work

Thomas Hale Boggs Jr. and Darryl D. Nirenberg, have long represented the Smokeless Tobacco Council.

Agribusiness sector, which includes tobacco firms, accounts for 12 percent of Patton Boggs’ income, highest % among the largest lobbying firms

Patton Boggs was paid $120,000 in 2008 to lobby on behalf of the International Cigar and Pipe Retailers Association

So, not content to slur LA, you slur me with vaccuous, totally stupid accusations?

Witch hunt.

And the point, as predicted, is that there would be a rebuttal, and the Lance Haters would scream bloody murder. Yet in any kind of evidenced based process you have ONLY ONE POT OF EVIDENCE - and then a prosecution and a defense.

Did you really think LA and company were just going to lay down their arms? And as USADA has decided to fight this in the court of public opinion ... did we really not see this coming?

And here it is, and the best that the Lance Haters can come up with is accusing anyone who disgrees with them of being a paid agent ... justice defined, eh?

I'm so enjoying this. Interesting how the Lance team cries bl00dy murder before the case gets released in a preemptive effort to garnish public support, while accusing others of not being prepared to deal with a rebuttal before there is anything to rebut.

It smacks of wanton manipulation of a distracted and largely unconcerned general public and merely evidences the fact that LA is scared sh!tless.

Will you at least concede that USADA might have more evidence than you suspected when the EYE witness list is revealed and it doesn't contain Paul Kimmage, **** Pound, David Walsh etc. ? As you have previously and repeatedly claimed it would?

Are you a member of the flat earth society by any chance?

Take a bit more Edgar and you will see that the Earth is flat. Especially L'Alpe D'Huez.

Huh? Since when USADA has decided that? Wasn't Armstrong the one who decided not to go to arbitration and see what USADA has as evidence?

Armstrong was the one who decided not to go through the process. He's the one who decided to go through the court of public opinion.

The others are right. You are not making any sense.

I'll have to agree with this. The general public really doesn't seem to give a rat's a$$ about the Armstrong case. I know a lot of cyclists and none of them is talking about this, much less my friends and colleagues. The local newspapers have no report on this whatsoever either, and I live near a big city.

The more Armstrong is fighting outside the process, the more guilty he looks. If he wants to fight, do it the right way: go through the process, question the evidence, take the stand in court. This sandbox bullying against USADA and the witnesses is just desperate attempt to discredit something that hasn't even been released yet.

I love the cancer card at the end of the article. Now the USADA has a vendetta against the Lance Armstrong Foundation? I'm just sad we stopped public stockades complete with rotten vegetables to throw.

Think it's just a case of a malfunctioning sarcasm detector, nothing to get annoyed about.
