Wow! This guy's towing the line on two fronts:

Olympic gold medallist and USA cycling coach Jamie Staff believes Lance Armstrong has been made a scapegoat over drug-taking in the sport.

"There is a new generation. Have faith that the likes of Bradley Wiggins are clean - I'd bet my life on it.

"I'd be happy to say any GB athlete is clean."

Staff's either dumb as a stump, or has b*lls the size of footballs...

To bet your life on any GT winner in the last twenty years being clean is quite the wager...

Hmmm he must have missed the original 'winners' of the 2010 TdF or the 2005 Vuelta. Staff seems to be a bit of a muppet!

Scapegoat: an individual singled out for unmerited negative treatment or blame.

Staff seems happy to ignore the overwhelming, uncontested, damning details about the Scumbag's central bullying role contained in USADAs report.

Travis Tygart has done all the work for you, Jamie, yet you don't seem to get it. Think about people like fellow Brit Graham Obree and all the others who couldn't compete with the cheats, and how about Christophe Basson - OK that his career was ruthlessly smashed? How about Greg Lemond's treatment? How about all the others treated badly: journalists, staff, colleagues, fans - all to be swept under the carpet while you feel sorry for the perpetrator?

he needs to study up on his talking points tho. He forget the "I have looked into his eyes and..." talking point.

otherwise, it reads pretty good :D

What a fecking embarrassment , just listened to the interview and his flippant ramblings..the bit about doping was all about recovery...then go,s on to say there still using IV,s for recovery...never uses the words performance enhancing ...just a pitiful load of fecking drivel. :(
