Kwiatkowsky, Porte, Yates and a whole list of GT riders.... with GT and/or climbing qualities, but not able to win a GT. They all became domestiques quite early. The same is gonna happen with Almeida in his actual team. Unless he makes it to the podium at least in the next two years. Which is still possible. Maybe at the end of this Giro. But then he still has to confirm in the Tour de France next year.You have no point whatsoever. A rider showing GT capabilities is enough to keep him signed until as a GT leader until he delivers. It does not push him to domestique roles. I can give you a list of GT riders that don't have a GT win but you hopefully get the idea.
