leaving my Kinetic road machine outside ?

i wanted to know if I'd be harming the fluid unit of my kurt kinetic road machine by leaving it outside ? It seems pretty robust, but I'm not sure after weeks / months of cold, rain and snow will do to it ?

any ideas ?

a gut feeling tells me that that is pretty stupid...do you have money to burn? I have no idea...but why on earth would you leave it outside?
