How does one leave and de-register? I can't see a way to do this.

Many thanks for your attention.

You can not.

Only way to do such a thing is to PM Susan and ask her to delete your account...

Change your password and e-mail address to something you know you'll never remember and then delete all the CN cookies from your browser and you'll never ever be able to log in again with that username.

Pretty easy.

I took a moment to look back over your posting history and I must say that based on the body of your work this would be a huge loss for the forum.:D:D:D:

Re de-registering: How about getting banned instead?

Ok - you are getting a bunch of sarcasm in response to an honest question. At first, reading a couple of responses to your posts on a thread, I thought maybe you were an identified troll. But, I also went and just read through your posts. Your understanding of cycle racing and tactics is poor, but I see no particular reason that you are getting the harassing sarcasm you get.

If you don't want to post here, then don't worry about quitting. Just don't come. You had your say regarding what you thought of the manners of at least some of the posters here. And you may be right - there is a lot of what you get out of a colostomy bag thrown about here. But, most of it is not bad-spirited. I have seen far worse forums.

I would advise you just go "quiet" for a while. See what you can learn. Read about what you enjoy reading about. We are here because we love cycling, not because we love each other.

hiero2, the problem is he probably signed up with subscribe to every thread he posted on so he gets an e-mail everytime someone posts, hence why he should change his e-mail address to something totally bogus and also never come back again.

For the life of me I cannot understand why people don't grasp this concept. It's a cycling forum, not crack. Nothing forces you to log in and post.

A bunch of you are killing me so that I've had my week's worth of comic relief, and it's not even Friday yet. :)

How do I say this? The OP wants to be an active forumite, but somehow is having that privilege taken away?

I thought those were some good answers.

Actually, I can't erase your account, but I can ban you for life and delete all your posts if you like. It's not a problem at all, just say the word. I'm here to serve your needs. That goes for all of you, actually. :)

The user's account has already been deleted, at his request.

I have to agree with the others, though. If you plan to leave the forum and never come back, just do it. The magic trick is called "will power".

Oh Susan dear.

As a man, speaking on behalf of the male brotherhood, how can I put this subtly?

Ok. If men had willpower, men would never marry, and within 1 generation it would be the end if the human species

For some of us, CN is not too dissimilar

Considering I am married to a man and have a son, I know that. (Also have a brother and had a father).

You poor weak creatures, how on earth do you manage to survive........
