hi there.im new to this website.looking for any information on leleu road race bikes. i recently bought one on ebay just for excercise purposes,its a really nice bike to ride and really light.all components are shimano and looks all original.i cant find any information on leleu bikes on the net.i know its not worth a lot but i would just like to know a little bit about this manufacturer.any information would be greatly appreciated.

hi and thanks for your reply.no its definitely a leleu as decals are fully readable even though they are not great.i have heard that the bike was made in lille in france but that is as much as i have found out.regards robert.

From looking on the web, it looks like they ran out of cash and closed on 2003. Seems like it's named after Christian Leleu (and not the pro Philippe Leleu, winner of a stage of the TdF in 83).

Anyway, if you google image "vélo leleu" you may find other bikes like yours.
