I raced with Greg Lemond in the late 1970's and when I saw his comments this week I thought, right on once again Greg for calling a spade a spade.
It is the UCI that is complicit and corrupt, nothing ever happens at the rider level that they don't have knowledge of and when the sport is awash in money, as was the case in the Armstrong era, then everyone wanted a share.
Greed is a universal character flaw and if the money trail gets carefully followed Verbruggen and McQuaid will be long gone.
Wisdom does come with years, thanks for proving that Greg.
