Leopard/Trek/Lance Mates Club Conspiracy

I know its been touched on that the schlecks are the new protected boys, but am I reading too much into this.

Landis gets busted for testosterone after leaving Lance's team (testosterone that he did or didnt take but likely got in via a transfusion)

Contador gets busted in strange circumstances for clenbuterol after leaving Lances team (clenbuterol that he likely didnt take during the tour but got in there via a transfusion)

path opens for Baby Schleck (who is friends with lance) to win the 2011 Tour and possibly more beyond.

Lances Buddies at trek (and as we now know former boardmembers at tailwind) become bike suppliers and main public sponsors of the new Leopard team.

Andy Happy, Pat Mcqaad Happy, Trek Happy = Lance Happy?

Or is it really too much to think that Lance could be behind the whole thing?

I wouldn't give Wonderboy that much credit. McQuaid is perfectly able to be corrupt on his own, without lance's help.

He sees that his previous cash cow is heading off to pasture, time to hook up the wagon to the new cash cow.

This makes me wonder whether the ASO is not involved as well. They wanted to make absolutely sure that Schleck/Trek would win by designing a course with no ITT km's.

But then again ASO and UCI don't get along so well, so are they really all in it?!

1. What has Floyd got to do with that ?
2. He was busted 2 years after he left USPS because he was too stupid to dope correctly and was too optimistic.
3. You don't know if and who is protected or not.
4. Contador was too stupid to dope, too, and was targeted.
5. The paths are open for the Schlecks to win le Tour or other big races anyway - without your conspiracy.
6. Good deal for the Schlecks and Trek. A bikesponsor sponsors a team. Wow, scandalous !
7. It's always good to have Lance as a friend. :D

Yes, like in 99% of the clinics' ca.688 Lance-threads.

Just how long do you think it takes the ASO to design the route? They don't knock it up over a weekend, you know.

#4 I disagree with. Contador was managed by his brother Fran who is an accountant. I will bet Berts bro was blackmarketing Als' doping program and also forgot greasing the wheels.
Fran was being a little smartie pants and I think Bert is too. Smart but not that smart. Did not have wife to protect food from contamination.

#6 Kudos to TREK for sponsoring Team LeApold. Sweet deal for everyone involved.

#7 Always respect your DOGGfather.

I love Team LeOpard. What an epic team. It is not about the handsomeness of their riders or their jerseys but the handsome riding of their team.

The CN article about the team presentation says that McQuaid was there as a guest. Does that mean the team paid for his travel and stay? Does the UCI pay for him to attend team presentations? Does he pay out of his own pocket? How does this work?

At the end of disussion of course there will come out that bad Lord Lance paid and is secret team owner.
With the money he stole from people suffering from cancer.
Also, while paying, Lance was doped, was insulting Floyd, Greg and Simeoni, and was twittering to the LeMond-kids.

Like always, Rrrrrrradio has had all this information for a long time and will admit it afterwards.

Obviously, a piece corporate hospitality, with the excess baggage paid on the brown envelope shaped suitcase.
Still, we have an opportunity to re-name the new team from the get go.
I submit that Team Leopard Trek, should be called Team Leprechaun Trek.

The king is dead, long live the king and all that.
(Maybe we now have the real reason Andy was booted off the edit:Vuelta(thanks Hitch, have ATOC on the brain, at the mo))

True so all this Leopard-Trek plan must go back much longer than anyone ever imagined ... I think it might have been already born at the end of the Tour de France 2009, when we repeatedly saw Andy and Lance talking in hushed voices.

Back then we all thought he was trying to recruit Andy for RadioShack, but in reality their plans went much further. Think about it: Pat is on Lance's salary list and Prudhomme loves the Schlecks. Together Lance and Andy united the ASO and UCI. Andy got the ASO to taylor-suit him a route and Lance got the UCI to accept a dodgy team with no sponsor, and bring down Contador and Landis along the way.

I just wonder what Trek's role is in all this. Does Armstrong own a considerable amount of shares? Do they blackmail him with proof from the USPS years? The latter seems more likely to me. That was the whole reason Armstrong came out of retirement - Trek blackmailed him, and if he didn't win the TdF then they'd release the evidence. Once Lance realized he couldn't do it anymore (end of 2009 TdF), he needed to find someone who was desperate enough to win the TdF that he would even ride on Trek .... Andy.

This also makes Lance a prime suspect for the Chaingate incident. No one would believe that Andy would deliberately ride Trek, so something really bad had to happen with his Specialized to make it seem more plausible. I doubt Andy knew about this. No one thought he had a real shot of winning, but then when it actually looked like he could pull it off, he was foolish enough to believe that Lance and Trek would let him do so on a Specialized.

I have also seen "Team Def Leppard" as a suggestion on a different site. Maybe we could collect around 5 to 10 suggestions and then have an official poll on it, so there will be no confusion?

That still leaves us with some 7 Clinic threads packed full with legitimate content about LA. That's more than most riders and certainly enough to make us all know he doped.

Poor that you need the clinic for that enlightenment.

Yes, yes !

Back in 2009, when Lance was talking to Alberto he already told him to be careful with his nutrition. I heard it. And I saw and know someone who heard it. I also saw someone who saw it. I also heard someone who saw it. There must be also someone who saw and heard that I heard and saw it.
Busy man our Lance, and so selfless that he arranged the Schleck's future even before looking for a sponsor for his own team.

Wonder what will happen next. Lance talked to so many people. Shocking.

Do not forget also Lance flies in a G-6, not economy class.
Me I am OK because I ride GREYHOUND.

I wrote in another thread that the inclusion of Trek as part of the Schleck's new team & the inevitable dismantling of RadioShack team seems very suspicious & can foresee the inclusion of the Shack riders into the Leopard crew as soon as the sponsors pull the plug. LA will be profiting from cycling as long as he's allowed before the trial breaks through.

Wow good point. Although Klöden and Levi might also retire. But Brajkovic would be nice. No idea where they'd fit him in though

The conspiracy is much, much deeper than that. Why do you think AMGEN has sponsored the Tour of California? Is it a coincidence that Lance was a spokesman for a Japanese automobile company. Isn't Shimano Japanese?

One of the 7 stages of grief is anger....don't worry Cobble, it will all be over soon.

I would not put too much in a Lance/Trek conspiracy. The truth is their relationship is strained to say the least. Trek, like most, are trying to figure out how they unstick themselves from the liability that is Armstrong.
