No doping scandles and no big names so nobody interested best get the web site for the event or the local news paper because you wont find anything on CN.

Ah, the French team's TDU.;)
Got to see some of this somewhere, last year, where, I know not.
Will probably turn up on the tube.
I remember David Moncoutie had a bad fall.
BMC's Jo Tschopp has got his biggest win here.

Libertine Seguros said:
oh, be fair. His biggest win until May last year. Not even Phil Liggett would dare claim that the Tropicale Amissa Bongo is superior to the Giro.

What?
I thought since Phil had the TDU pegged as bigger than the Giro, Bongo would be up there.
It must be, since it's not raced in Europe!

Clearly, there are times when one , just isn't enough.;)

Have all the Libyans finished stage 1 yet?
54 minutes down in a 2 and a half hour race.
That's worse than Cav on a mountain stage.

It's Bongo bonkers from the UCI to rate this race the same as the Etoile, Routa Del, Sol, Murcia, Volta Algarve, Coppi e Bartali, to name just some of the early Euro campaigns.

Schumi appears to be well on his way back. Good sign for his cq owners, though he's not likely to get into too many big races.

Hey nice deliver from Cunego and good for Pietropolli!!!

heyyyyy Stephan!!!!!!!!!! nice to see him in the top 10! this year is going to be his purgatory, next year I hope that he can find a good team in the peloton!

oh btw... haters STFU go with your hate to other post... "dopers this..." "dopers that..." give me a break...

Watching this 2.1 stager, under leadened skies, with hardly a spectator out on the course, it showed why the TDU is a WC event.
The only difference being that final 14 kms was hard.
It never got steep, but gradually got harder.
Riders dropping off all over the place.
An early showing from the Little Prince, too.
A good start to the Euro season.
