Think he can get rid of him on one of the climbs. Hoelgaard has seemed super strong.

You're right about the gap. Strong attack from Segaert in the peloton, but nobody wants to cooperate. Which is a bit strange.

Possible yeah but it's still very risky. Anyways Abrahamsen isn't far. I don't think Hoelgaard shoudl ride. And with peloton doing nothing apart from some attacks they will be fighting for the win.

Tiller said he felt great, and thought he would have caught Teunissen. Hoelgaard said he cracked completely after he went alone on the hill.

Dunno if the moto pacing changed the result. Teunissen still had 5-6 seconds to close, and he wasn't closing that rapidly. Seems like his legs kinda went as well when he complained about the moto. And he didn't seem too angry at the finish.

Great race anyway.

I disagree. He was definitely closing the gap pretty rapidly before Hoelgaard got a moto in front of him on a part where there was apparently a very strong headwind. You could see Teunissen creep closer before that and after that the gap got bigger insanely big.

He isn't angry cause Teunissen is mature and just not that person. He was pretty angry when it happened, and in the interview after the finish he also was insinuating it by repeating "but after Wijnpers he flew away".

Yeah, good point with the headwind. Hard to be sure, really. Both of them would have deserved it.

GC wise, Baudin has 23 seconds lead over Aular and 25 seconds over Cepeda, so Caja with two cards to play. 2,200 m of climbing so a strong break might make it, but the last 2,5 km are a false flat to the line so it'll take a strong sprint to win.
