Cheers, I consider myself a bit of a vexillologist but I had never come across that one.It appears to be this one
Ha! all of a sudden Astana appear on Start list . So Lutsenko is back aiming for a 3rd win and maybe more importantly for Astana some UCI points.Saturday 14th September and the Hirschi Victory Tour continues with the 21 st Memorial Marco Pantani (1.1) 195.4 km from Cesena to Cesenatico, start at 11.20 CET, apparently TV is limited to "RAI Sport schedule shows an hour of recorded late in the evening."
startlist at https://www.procyclingstats.com/race/memorial-marco-pantani/2024/startlist
(Hirschi lost to Lutsenko last year and as Astana are not even riding here, I think we can guess who is the favourite)

Same finish as last year with 4 laps each 5 km long in Cesenatico.
Nothing says 'R.I.P Marco' like a 40k flat finish. Unfortunately I think Marc's run ends here but he will be back in the mix tomorrow.
Yes he will have a crack I think because I'm not sure Ulissi will fancy his chances against Aular, Albanese and even Malucelli on an easy run-in if it comes down to it. Though he had the advantage of a few Peccioli iterations with his solo last time, will definitely need more people to go with him in this one.He basically did a 40km solo 2 days ago? I don't think he wins cause he might want to have someone else from the winning (like Ulissi) but it's definitely not impossible to get away with a smaller group in the hard middle of this race
Still 45s and 1:05 with 18km to go, they're going really wellSeems like it's only Baroncini and Brenner, that won't be enough.
40s behind is 2nd group with around 10 riders, Hirschi, Albanese, Pelizzari, Aular, Oldani, Pena, Storer, ... among them.
20s further bigger group.
17s now with one lap to go, really good work by Baroncini and Brenner. Exciting finish!26s with two laps to go, unless there's a big G2 dynamics moment it's over
