With the late season Belgian one dayers I usually get the races all muddled up but remember this one the most, because of the Citadelle and more than anything because it isn't named like someone has just smashed their head against the keyboard like "Alfasun Gooikse Pijl".

Well like you said he was dead (jetlagged probably), so today had nothing to do with positioning.

He was also already attacking with 40k to go, wasting energy, like he loves to do. Whole Lotto team tbh, and then they sacrifice Berckmoes in the end for some reason when every other team is just profiting.
