Just when you thought it could not get any better, it's time for Paris - Tours (1.Pro), tomorrow Sunday 6th October.
213.8 km from Chatres to Tours (let's hope they've remembered to cover up the tram rails), start at 12.10 CET and TV from 15.00 CET.

Last year's surprise winner Riley Sheehan is back again, but who ever wins, will need some luck out in the vineyards.

Lots of gravel sectors, lumpy bits, and with rain forecast as well could be fun viewing.

Thanks for all these mini previews throughout the season!

Looking forward to see some actual bike racing tomorrow.

3rd stage win for Malucelli. He's looking for a PCT team for next season, I'd say that one should sign him. Beating de Kleijn 3 times in one stage race is no joke, the guy is just behind the top guys when it comes to his speed.
A proper stage race sprint stage merchant. Never had a single good one-day result. Which was maybe a reason why he wasn't retained by Bingoal (assuming he wanted to, dunno about that). But Persico and Weemaes haven't exactly set the world alight for them, so keeping Malucelli would have been better I suppose. He's definitely good enough for a PCT level team that is not the Israels and Uno-Xes of this world. As you say, impressive speed. Just a bit lacking in most other departments.

Yeah, but looking at all the flat races for sprinters he's clearly a good rider to have for a PCT team. With all the Asian races that they are riding even Burgos or Caja Rural would benefit from having him.

they could, but at 350k they probably prefer to sign 10 other riders.

Interesting that he talks so openly about money. Would anyone really pay that much for a sprinter like him, especially this late in the year?

Arkéa are doing a great job of both minimising their chances of winning and their chances of getting a decent amount of points.

Their tactics in these races is always to do absolutely nothing and pray everything comes together so that they can sprint with to and get points. Can still happen here, but most of the time they just throw away good results by doing it
