Etoile de Besseges

With Coquard now winning his first race/stage, can he do sth in the general classification? Was unable to find sth resembling a stage profile, saw that there was a short TT coming up which could suit him actually.

TT ends with a short climb, i guess the profile is similar to last year. All the others stages are easy, but today there are some climbing that might couse some splits in peleton. But Coquard should survive them easily, he's ok on hills.

I think the ITT is the same as last year, and even with so many guys still at s.t. you'd be hard pressed to look past Coppel who trashed everyone here last season. Be interesting to see how Coquard goes if he's still up there for the ITT.

Looks to be a tough stage today in Besseges;
Ils sont environ 40 en tête de course.

Still like 130km to go or something and only 40 left in front. Well, things might come together a bit more again, but at least it ain't gonna be easy today.

I think that Cousin did win. If I read the DirectVelo feed correctly, the mistake was that they reported that Robert was in the break while the race was on, when in fact it was Cousin all along.

That is how i understood it too.

It's a hard ITT so lord only knows who's gonna take it from that front group.

Anyone got a profile of this TT? Does it have a big climb or is it all up-and-down. In that case even a non-timetrialist like Leukemans has a chance to win.

5.2kms at 4.1% climb

Same as last year when Coppel won :
1. [FRA] COPPEL Jérôme SAU 14'25"
2. [EST] TAARAMÄE Rein COF 26"
3. [FRA] BOUET Maxime ALM 33"
4. [BEL] VEUCHELEN Frederik VCD 34"
5. [FRA] FEDRIGO Pierrick FDJ 37"
6. [FRA] VERMEULEN Franck VRU 39"
7. [FRA] HIVERT Jonathan SAU 39"
8. [BEL] CORNU Dominique TSV 42"
9. [FRA] PERICHON Pierre-Luc LPM 46"
10. [FRA] ROLLAND Pierre EUC 48"
Cousin is not winning this. Bardet or Fédrigo will win the GC probably.
