Time differences are crazy on that stage, the last rider finished 50 minutes behind :D

Skydive Dubai wins yet again today, which underscores why I don't understand why Lampre let go of Palini when they have much worse riders.

Anyway, when will someone buy Mirza? He's always up there in these races. Not to mention his goatie looks badass.

lol, and today several riders went OTL despite racing on what appeared to be an airstrip.

Stage 2 result:
1 Andrea Palini (Ita) SkyDive Dubai Pro Cycling Team 3:52:54
2 Yousef Mirza Banihammad (UAE) Nationalmannschaft Vereinigte Arabische Emirate 0:00:00

All it took for them to win was just finding small enough race :)

But seriously, they deserve some credit and I hope they get some bigger win some day.

Yeah, with guys like Mejias they should be able to win some small races if they would just send him there instead of things like Dubai.

Too flat. i think Debesay will win this as he's used to the terrain. Baugnies will surely win one stage, but there will be sprinting between Hutarovitch, palini, and Robert/Baugnies normally

yea, but still early days in remote races. Lets see how they perform in something like Tour of Turkey if they get an invite. Perhaps related: whats the chance of Skydive becoming PCT next year?

I really don't know, they must be one of the CT teams with the biggest budget though. I think them and Baku are probably most likely to step up (and wasn't the Stolting guy also planning this?) but that doesn't mean they will

Paging the green monsters.

Seems hilly enough at the end to try and overtake him but dropping him for more than 3 minutes on a 100m hill will be a bit too much.
