It's the Tour, the chances at a weak break where he's actually in (he's not the best at getting into breaks as he often feels meeh at the start of a race) are really slim. This isn't the Giro.

I'm not ruling it out - He's been at a good level all year - Put it this way if Houle can win a stage there's a chance for Van Gil.

If you can't understand that this is lawyer talk, and very likely just some translation issues (which is pretty amateuristic ofcourse) I don't know man.

I really don't get what people want Lotto to do in this case? There's obviously lawyers involved, they probably can't say shiit and in Belgium firing an employee for this stuff does not just happen quickly.

I mean apparently he has send messeges to a lot of women, so imo it's still a weird thing to do and obviously a bad look for Lotto (even tho I don't understand why everyone trips over Lotto using "private matter" as it is literally that) and they will probably (after lawyers get involved) get rid of him (which wouldn't be a loss anyways). People thinking why he hasn't been sacked already are just dumb, that's literally impossible as he hasn't done anything illegal. It's not that simple.

That being said. The women posting all this stuff definitely is definitely not a saint. Her whole timeline (even before this ***) is posting private convo's with men and about dates, talking about onlyfans stuff, and her begging for jobs. And now she's using the attention she gets to beg for jobs again, which is a bit weird to me. If you're actually shocked by this dudes behavior you're obviously not going to tweet a 1000 times about it and tweet about wanting a job in the cycling indrustry like 5 times in 24 hours.



He's definitely not the victim, even tho people don't need to act like he murdered someone, it weren't even actual nudes. He's still weird tho. Why would anyone do this, definitely when you work for a big cycling team. Anyone with some braincells should know you could get in throuble doing that.

That being said, the witch hunt this women and her followers are starting is a bit over the top for something like that.

It's also a bit weird that the women is just posting snippets of conversations. Like it's pretty obvious Davis and her were talking for a while (she even said that in a tweet) before positing that. Not saying she led him on or something, but I also don't believe he just randomly send that out of nowhere.

You've cost a good DS his job. You're not a cyclist or have any experience in professional sport so tried to flirt your way into one then decided to stitch him up. I don't think you'll work in cycling after that.

Lotto seems to have perpetual bad luck with youth riders getting injured seriously.. prayers up and hoping for the best with Tijl.

It's confirmed in flemish press that de Lie wants a new /other bike and so in 2024 they'll have another bike constructor

Pros / competition riders have so much more exposure to the dangers of the road ...
Training for road bike competition (and leisurely riding) is a high-risk activity, and too many riders are dying in traffic.

It's heart-breaking. Too young to rest in peace. A tragedy for all involved.

Heartbreaking

It now happens all the time.

Goddaert, Goolaerts, Demoitie, Scarponi, Rebellin, Lambrecht, Mäder, de Decker, and so on. Almost every year, at least one pro rider dies on the road, of an accident.

Speeds are increasing, traffic is increasing, and so on.

Many, many accidents happen, sadly… :-(
