Seems like Bora made a last minute chance. Hindley out, Lührs in for today.

The route of today is pretty hilly, although the gradients are not that steep. So in a controlled race a rider like Matthews could win today, but I don´t think that this will be the case. I think a rider like Wellens will win here.

It's so weird these races are not televised. The whole cycling world would be watching after such a long lay-off and so few European pro races are not televised these days.

Seems at least after that proper broadcasting will start. Saudi Tour and the Volta a la Valenciana will be on Eurosport.

What I saw in the short video had been Lotto and Bora chasing..

Atop Coll den Bleda and the breakaway has been caught thanks to the work of Lotto and to a lesser extent Movistar. There were major splits on the descent of Coll de Sóller with its thirty hairpins, the current first group of 9 riders with Wellens, McNulty and Uijtdebroeks has 30 seconds on the first peloton.

It is indeed Valentin if I'm not mistaken. I think there are a few more riders in the chasing group than those listed here.
