Agreed. Though I do like this year's parcours.

It should also be noted that VINO RETURNS TO EUROPEAN SOIL!!!

Looking forward to this, especially as I recently discovered I can watch Rai Sport 2.

One disappointment - I had assumed Anacona would make his Lampre debut here, yet they only have 7 riders on the startlist.

Ulissi to take the overall
Lampre to win the TTT
Androni to crazy attack almost every stage
Guardini to overcook in stage 2a
Ponzi to impress
JTL to NOT win a stage
A Liquigas youngster to surprise (Agostini, Moser or Ratto)
Battaglin to take a stage

- you heard it here first!!

He was supposed to travel to Europe last week. Maybe he had visa issues. I don't know what his race programme is, but if he does a GT this year I would guess it would be the Vuelta rather than the Giro.

Lampre to win the TTT

Unlikely with only 7 riders.

vicioso might be absent but rujano is a lot better this year in both shape and itt as he showed in langkawi itt. this race will indicate if he worked on it. because I didn't read anything about it and in recent years rujano has neglected his itt a lot.

This will be a nice race. On your opinion could the stage 2a be won by a sprinter- it's short and there is 30km of no climbing.

I think one of these 3 shall win; SELLA Emanuele, RUJANO GUILLEN José and SERPA PEREZ Jose Rodolfo.

JTL might finish top 5 but his team will suck in the TTT. Kessiakoff and Garzelli should also challenge ( no Betancur because of the DNF at M-SR ).
