Could be another great result for Westra. Coming out of Paris-nice in good form. He should be able to do very well in the overall. Same with kwiatkowski. He would have won the Driedaagse-West Vlaanderen if it wasnt for the crash, but he could potentially win this one. Sagan will probably win a at least one stage having great form at the moment.

Yep Westra would be my pick. Weather always plays a big factor in De Panne. If weather is good, best TTer wins it. If weather's bad, can be a much more selective parcours. Looking at the forecast I wouldn't rule out any of the Radioshack specialists - Sergent in particular.

Westra said this is his next goal. Aside from his great Paris Nice form he has his sights set on revenge after last year anyway.

Last year he lost in the ITT but 1 day later it turned out he was sick. Barring any accidents they are going to have a hard time beating him

I'm little bit surprised to see Chavanel, Langeveld, Devolder and especially Sagan participating in this race. Pretty hard preparing for Ronde, don't you think

Nah, it isn't. The real threat are the crashes and the wind.

Wonder which one of these guys is gonna win it..

21 CHAVANEL Sylvain France
22 CHICCHI Francesco Italy
23 TERPSTRA Niki Netherlands
24 VAN KEIRSBULCK Guillaume Belgium
25 KWIATKOWSKI Michael Poland
26 DEVENYNS Dries Belgium
27 FENN Andrew United Kingdom
28 KEISSE Iljo Belgium

:D

Chavanel seems to be a good pick for this. Sagan I think said he would take this race easy. So maybe he wont win overall but still might take a stage.

Wanna see Greipel go hardman again

His stage 1 victory last year was remarkable

I liked that new version of Greipel. I bet Cav would never be able to do stuff like that.

Chavanel/ MK can uphold the proud OPQS tradition by being favourites. Hopefully Westra can go well too.

Sagan vs Greipel will also be nice to see in the sprints though there is of course Kittel, Huta, Demare, Modolo, the UHC boys, Galimzynayov and Chicchi.

I wish Alexander Serov was doing this for RusVelo as he seemed like a good young talent in the ITTs.

kwiatkowski is my favourite.

compared to the years before it was really easy pedaling last year, do you think he can follow if guys like Chavanel, Langeveld, Devolder, Chainel. Hoste etc go kamikaze on stage 1?

no, it's perfect, until 2009 the winners of the Ronde had been using De Panne as preparation 15 times in row.

Yes he can. But a lot depends of OPQS tactics. In E3 Kwiatek was very good, but he obviously had to help Boonen and Chavannel, Sylvain mainly. 2 km from the finish he was still working in the front of the main group chasing Hoste, after a lot of hard riding the whole race. The TT also suits him very well. Michal is only 21 so it is hard to expect a victory, but he should be in the mix. So far this season he was riding good in every race he started. Fingerss crossed, becouse he is a great guy, and the biggest talent in our cycling.

Kwiatkowski was a beast at Dwars door Vlaanderen and E3. He CAN.

This is a Cancellara in the making. Mark my words.

another great race coming our way, I think it will come down to Kwiatkowski and Westra in the TT for the overall win

I always like De Panne, a pretty unpredictable stage race that is always affected, but not defined by, the time trial.

I know far too little about the U23 scene to know how Durbridge might do on the cobbles (or if he's even had any relevant experience), but I certainly can't look past him in the TT, and if he can stay within shouting distance on the overall, he may do quite well.

Durbridge has never ridden on cobblestones before, he may be a contender for the TT, but not for the race overall. And to win the TT he has to survive the 2,5 stages before - hard enough, as this is his first road race since Down Under.
