Massimo Besnati

I was researching something and came across this man, Massimo Besnati who's currently employed by Katusha as a doctor. Nothing's wrong with that, but this page here claims he was prosecuted for possession of steroids in 2001 in what they called Le blitz du Giro. He worked for Mapei at the time.

Any other info on this man among The Clinic? (I used the search already, nothing came up)?

Worth a bump. I suppose it'd be nigh on impossible to find an Italian doc with cycling experience who hasn't been linked to something.

My intention wasn't to give credit to him.

Just pointing out the section on Besnati.

did not Gianetti almost lose his life to perfluorocarbons? He went into a coma, or something serious. I know Johan Museeuw almost lost his leg in a Roubaix accident because of the perfluorocarbons. So goes the popular myth. Could be apocryphal.
