Matt is writing up his memoirs, first parts are online for free
http://www.su13.us/online_book1

So today I sit in Charlottesville, Virginia on the 6th of April the day after my 34th birthday and the day after I have just gotten engaged to my true soul mate thinking back and reflecting on my life. An exciting life it has been, and I am going to tell you all about it, as accurately as I can remember. I am lucky enough to have been blessed with a vivid memory for events that have transpired in my life. So where did my life begin? It began in Martha Jefferson Hospital on April 5, 1977. The day that both Kurt Cobain and Layne Stayley died of heroin overdoses perhaps the best day ever to remember those who have died from doping. Doping and the fight against it would become my life's work, and I would fight it on a bicycle.

Matt's an interesting guy and not frightened of speaking his mind, both about himself and others. His message can come across too full on for some folk but he just writes it as he sees it.

what is the title gonna be?

"Stolen Underground: tales of an espoir virgin deflowered by the Hog"

?

I like:

The Floyd Landis letter.* We have also had a discussion with Tom Danielson in private who also told us about Johan being the man we needed to focus on.* Bravo to Danielson for speaking from the heart and for being a man when it came to facing the underground.

how does that work, he says on his website that Tom Danielson said that JB is the guy to look at..and then goes on to print passages from Landis's letter. The guy was a good racer. He says he is also after the Olympic organizers. I really like the title of the book. It looks like lots of guys who get caught and are getting close to 35 do a rebel thing with lots of skulls, dark stuff, graffiti it is all very edgy

The guy tears his website down and completely reinvents himself every 2nd week. In other words, it's going to be a really short memoir. And to those of us that collect such info, it'd be a smart idea to copy and store anything he does put online. This week he's a fashion kingpin, next week he's a hip-hop star, the next week he's making a comeback on the road. The writing career could be short lived.

I fear that the demon ADHD will make quick work of this effort. If he says anything that adds to the database, make sure you copy it and save it. He usually blows his website up every 3 weeks or so and starts over again.

Matt should hook-up with a journalist who can outline a proper story. I quickly tired of "the early years" paragraph.

Start with a good doping tale and then flashback to the humble beginnings.

BB,

Where have you been of late? I have missed your fine pen.

This book will be chock full of crazy on a scale that might scare Charlie Sheen straight.

I wonder if he will include the part when he spent all his money trying to turn Stolen Underground into a clothing brand.

Job change (sigh). They actually frown upon my caring about the "important" stuff in the world today ;)

I figured Lance might get indicted faster if I were to stop posting for a while. Nope.

Hmmmm.....

Boy, I couldn't make it through that. He needs to find an unemployed journalist (and there are plenty) with editing experience to help him with this.

I won't be shocked if this entire thing is wiped, and he updates the site again to something else in a month or so. Then, in a few months after that...
