What has Floyd got to lose? They saw to it that he was out in the cold with nothing, so it's backfired on them.

He's going to tell it like it is, and they'll be shown up for the goons they are when they fold because they don't want exposure in a court of law.

Floyd could sue the whole bunch for defamation when the dust has settled. he'd have a strong case.
A licenced UCI rider admits to doping, and tells all. UCI head goes out of his way to ridicule him. And to get him to suffer actual lawyer costs which by lack of lawsuit cannot be claimed back. Kicking when he's already down.

What would be the lost income for a proven TdF winner in level playing field (when proven most all doped) who at first did everything he was told to do, and what others did before him with success?

It is probably in the same file as the recepit they are going to release to the public - I am sure it will be released in the next few hundred years.

Yeah that would be the receipt written on a piece of toilet paper, where Hein was on the phone telling Pat what to write. 'Jesus pat you're even more stupid than I thought.'

It's very revealing of the UCI that Pat can keep his job, when he has been caught lying time and time again. As we say around here, 'I wouldn't believe the radio in that man's house.'

This what I wrote on the other thread:

You’d think McQuaid would say something like “For now there is no law suit. Cycling has moved on, the UCI has moved on we’re now part of new generation of cycling . The UCI and cycling doesn’t need to waste time with Floyd Landis. Let’s talk about the programs we’re putting in place and some of the excellent results from new younger riders at the world championships”

But instead he continues to put his foot in it and pretend there’s still something in the law suit. He’d be better off acknowledging that there isn’t a lawsuit and move on. But pretending that Floyd is lying when the whole world knows he’s not is just really stupid. It just prolongs the pain

Yes you would think that, unless he knew that the UCI leadership actually WAS criminally negligent or worse in allowing the doping culture to flourish. VerDRUGgen has been writing outrageous things about doping in cycling since the 80's that only Richard Pound has called him on. It's the Armstrong playbook. Deny deny deny. I still think we need the equivalent of the FDA investigation into the UCI. Maybe a Swiss government corruption investigation? They've been making noises about IF's hiding out in Switzerland. Maybe the Armstrong trial will lead to that. I imagine there will be evidence of the UCI's corruption come out there.

The Swiss government will never look into corruption, they must hold most of the world's corrupt wealth FFS. Turkey's will vote for Xmas before that happens.

The Swiss government has also pressured the Swiss banks to cooperate with money laundering investigations from abroad. That's why it was reported in the mainstream press that the IRS had forensic accountants in Switzerland examining bank accounts related to the allegations against Armstrong & Co. The days of Switzerland being a haven for corrupt monetary transactions is pretty much over.

The beauty of the UCI is it's in Switzerland and Landis is in the U.S. He'd have to sue in Switzerland. And then there's the matter of the entire affair happening all over the world. Maybe someone with legal background can correct me, but there's a mess of cross-border law to deal with first.

Landis should sue USAC. We all know USAC is the U.S. operations of the UCI. Probably too many legal problems with that too.
