Sprinters edition it seems, but sprinting after 250km is a special breed and specially in the worlds. There is few favorites in a sprint at this km mark as i see it; the usual suspects are Cavendish, Greipel(Degenkolb), Sagan, Kristoff + 5 more.

Latest weather forecast is 26 celsius from 09:00 to 15:00, coolest day of this entire week. Also just 1m winds from South-East. No echelons!

Best teams are with no doubt, Germany, Italy, Belgium, UK and Holland .. Only germany wants a sprint though (If cav aint there).. :D Lets hope it will be a battle of no sprint vs sprint nations then. I love that Germany only have 6 riders and Norway has 9! lol, wtf happened? :D

Greipel, Sagan, Cavendish, and Kittel are fairly equal favorites.
2nd tier: Bouhanni, Gaviria, Kristoff, Boonen
3rd tier: Ewan, Groenewegen, Van Avermaet, Nizzolo, Degenkolb, Viviani, Demare, Nielsen, Boasson Hagen, and Bennett.

Everyone else has near 1% chance or less of winning on oddsmaking.

Worst thread start I've ever seen. No course profile pic?

Not even a date, ugh. It's Oct 16th btw. Could this thread be deleted? There are some amazing posters here that make awesome race thread starting posts. The first link doesn't even say what time zone the time is referring to.

There's no way they can do this at 260km after watching the women's TTT. It would be absurd. Insane heat with no respite sections, dry heat, no moisture. No fans, no racing. I'm pretty angry about it, having seen it. You had Mieke Kröger, who in most circumstances is a TT machine, just hit the wall and have to be helped out before she collapsed. You had two Twenty16 riders implode in the final kilometre. You had riders vomiting everywhere, and worst of all, Anouska Koster clearly passed out from heat exhaustion on the bike and veered into a wall, having a horrible crash where she landed on her face, since unlike Kröger the team only had four riders left and she couldn't let go. The team and the medics, rightly, wouldn't let her get back on the bike, but should never have been allowed to get to that stage. To be doing this at 7 hours, the pace would have to be so relaxed at the start to make it doable that it would be an almost unwatchably dull spectacle.
