Missing cyclingnews App in appstore?

Curios thing. A while back my cyclingnews app went haywire and kept restarting when choosing the results page.

Resetting the app or restarting the phone didn't help, so I choose to remove the app entirely and restart, thinking I could reinstall it.

Now, when I search for Cyclingnews in appstore I get nothing?

Oh, its and iphone4, updated to the very latest iOS edition. Just installed RCS' Giro app (which is quite nice actually) but still no cyclingnews.

Any ideas?

Last week I wiped my phone of all apps, and still no cyclingnews app available in the istore.

Its pretty tedious reading the news on your regular website through Safari

I believe the decision was taken to pull the app from the App Store because development had stagnated as we have two replacements: one is Cycling News HD which is our new weekly interactive iPad magazine; the other is our mobile site which is accessible from any device, not just iOS devices. The latter is shiny and new so let us know what you think!

App inquiry

Hi. I have the app loaded. I used to have the live tracker. Which I paid for.

I deleted app by mistake. Couldn't find in store. But had on Mac. So I reinstalled.

But can't reload live tracker. Can you help, pls?

App is called 2012 so I'd doubt you fully stopped supporting it.

When you say you can't reload the live tracker, what do you mean? What happens when you click on the live tab?

I have the same problem. I try to reactivate the Live subscription after reinstalling the app on my iPhone, and I get an error message "No Products. Unable to find any products tat can be purchased; if there is an app upgrade available please install it".
It seems that Cyclignews app has been removed from the app store.

I don't like the mobile web version, it contains adds that I don't want, plus the navigation is more cumbersome that the app.

Please bring back the Cyclingnews app in the app store.

There is a substitute for the app which is pretty easy to set up as follows:

1. Open safari and load the website m.cyclingnews.com
2. Press the "arrow in the box" button at the bottom of the page (the same one you use to add bookmarks)
3. Select "Add to home screen"

This will add a app that loads the cyclingnews mobile web site.

Yes i know about the shortcut to mobile site, but the app looks much sleeker on an ipad

Lack of Android for Cyclingnews or any of the magazine subscriptions has prevented my subscribing. Cost of paper editions sent to the states is a bit much - and I'll never have an Apple device after prior experience with them.
