My bike fit this week appears to have finally solved my ITB issues and allowed me to train with intensity for the first time in about 18months....

(you didn't say what season)

Boonen's Roubaix win was very cool. This year's M-SR was an exciting edition also.
And BMC not winning **** so far is very enjoyable.

BMC have won 3 races and have featured in every classic. Not many, if any teams can say that.

Boonen and OPQS domination during the first part of the season.

Valverde winning few days after the end of his suspension.

The PN tt, TA, although Lanciano was cancelled. Roubaix was good. Sanchez finally winning Pais Basque.

The giro should be okayish, if some good gc rider race it.

The tour can only be exciting if the schlecks cause a mountain massacre.

The olympics RR parcours sounds like ****, and i won't be able to watch.

Vuelta will be brutal, for reasons you all know

The WC should be fine, and lombardia too

Race action in the major events has been dull so far this year. Obviously some strong individual performances, but thats not enough to get my blood pumping.

Some of the smaller races were been better:

Haut Var Stage 2
Omloop Het Nieuwsblad
Strade Bianche
Brabantse Pijl

Talking of smaller races, stage 4 of the Tour of Qatar was a great stage.

Astana's lack of success...that's glorious as well.

AGR last weekend? That from a team that to me is far more stage race orientated, than classically trained.

This thread has made me realise how mundane this season has really been Nothing really spectacular imo.

I thought, reading the chat in the other little place, that you watched yesterday's stage. Mundane, it certainly was not.

Other than the 2 TTs, I can't remember what was the 3rd race they have won, this season. Which one, or are you talking about Cadel's GC?
(I'm glad you called them races, rather than road races.;))

Anyhow, I thought yesterday's Trentino would be considered great, in any season.
I agree about the Eze ITT showdown. Not something that you usually associate with a clock race: greatness.
Sagan = great.
Nibali's Prati di Tivo win was very good, but great?....

However, in terms of the classics, then we are talking more mundane than great.
