National Champs predictions

Go ahead.

I'd go with:

Belgium: Kevin Pauwels (rather because I want him to win)
Netherlands: Lars Anthonius Boom
Czech Republic: Zdenek Stybar (easy)
France: Steve Chainel (for a change)
Italy: Enrico Franzoi (hope he's recovered from the fall but I don't doubt it :))
Luxembourg: Jempy Drucker :)
Switzerland: Christian Heule
Great Britain: Ian Field (?)
USA: Todd Wells (the easiest of all)
Poland: Mariusz Gil
Germany: Philipp Walsleben (easy)
Spain: Egoitz Murgoito
Slovakia: Robert Gavenda (huh already raced?)

Any other maybe?

Sorry for the joke. The US Nats had already been raced. :p;)

Czech Republic:

1 Zdenek Stybar
2 Martin Zlamalik 54"
3 Jaroslav Kulhavy 1'19"
4 Petr Dlask
5 David Kasek
6 Vladimir Kyzivat
7 Tomasz Paprstka
8 Karel Hnik
9 Ondrej Bambulla
10 Lubomir Petrus

Kulhavy should do more cross. He could keep up with Stybar for 2 or 3 laps.

Nice route.

Hope Styby won't be World Champion. Not that I dislike him but I love the Czech Champion Jersey. :p

Is it me or Albert really improved in the technical part this year. I've never seen him so good in the sand.

Which channel was streamed? I watched the race on RTBF !

By the way I watched the last laps of the French nats. "Mourey has had bad luck at the Worlds so far but his glory day will come." When he caught Chedhomme who was one lap behind and draft his wheel: "It's inadmissible. One should respect a champion. If you are defeated, you should recognize, the winner was stronger, blabla" "He's showing the FDJ mark on his jersey, he's right to do it."

We can always count on these French to make us laugh. :D
