As soon as the Dolphins fumbled the ball on a backwards swing pass to Hill who lined up as a running back I knew it was going to be a rough game. Nobody looks happy, Hill looks like he wants to go back to the Chiefs, and they still can’t overcome someone being physical with them. Even if Tua comes back I don’t think they’re making the playoffs and Hill, Waddle, or both might be gone at the end of the season.

Lions had a great win with Goff playing statistically perfect bar the safety at the end. Crazy these two teams have had such high scoring games. Seahawks just kept making to many mistakes, on top of Lions scheme/players being better even though Lions defense was trying to help out with all the penalties they committed.

With a week 4 prediction I think Super Bowl will be Chiefs vs Lions.

SEA was missing their run stoppers and it showed with DET having too many big runs.

Its silly of me to pick one play that broke the game for SEA, but DK's fumble was the play IMO.

Goff 18 for 18 is pretty cool!
Both teams were beat up. Lions get the blessing to have a bye now but the short end of the stick for the long run.

Miller out for 4 games after his issues last year even though according to him and his agent no charges have ever been filed. Makes me think Rice won’t get any punishment till next year, if that.

Rice may not have a torn ACL. Likely know more on Wednesday.

Lawerence is indeed teetering on being a bust, Sherman is spot on.

I don't even know what to say about Herbert. Yes, the Chiefs D is still good, but he continues to look like a completely average QB, being paid $250m. I'll say the same thing about Herbert and Lawerence. They have potential, and forever will.

Speaking of lost potential, Watson had a good start, and a chance to close out the Raiders playing a slew of back-up players, but couldn't.

Davonte Adams wants out of Vegas all of a sudden. I think they should deal him to the Jets. Let him play with a washed Rodgers and be nostalgic about it.

Where was this Baltimore team against the Raiders? And where was this Henry against them, and the Chiefs? The Ravens never blitzed Mahomes, but they wrecked Josh Allen by often blitzing just one player.

Flacco saved the day for the Colts, but Richardson had his best game up to the point he got hurt. Steelers D was what lost that game, not Fields.

Seahawks will be fine.

Only a team like the Browns would get rid of Flacco as a back up. He came on for the Colts and once again looked good. People that think the 49ers are trading Aiyuk for Adams are dreaming. Rodgers usually gets what he wants which is why the Jets will probably grab him and also probably why GB decided to move on with Love due to Rodgers continual head games. Wouldn't want to be in Saleh's shoes especially if the Jets under perform for the rest of the season. At least Saleh already knows that Rodgers isn't a hugger, at least with him.............

I certainly was not disappointed with Geno Smith as a fighter, he did. Not a great outcome but Seahawks went back and forth for most of the night.
I think that Nomad should not be crowded out in his dedication to calling out Charger chump, completely bust bum, Herbert.
I gotta say this week showed lots of teams really cooling off, so any hot streaks stopped for most.
I have had a tough time enjoying the Minnesota Vikings since Fran Tarkenton retired and I went to race there and discovered that yes 10,000 lakes on the license plate is likely accurate but 1 trillion mosquitoes should be added. Plus Adrian Peterson saying that beating his kids was right there in the Bible made them hard to watch!!
I can't afford clothing to be a Raiders fan, many they can come up with a jersey design that has Oakland, LA, Las Vegas all in one!! And regardless of record, not seen too many Cardinals in Phoenix.. Should name the team Arizona Misters or AZ AC units!!
Thinking Washington only team that makes sense.

I'm 100% certain they did it because the Browns players (and fans) would have revolted, insisting Watson be benched/cut to let Flacco lead the team. The Browns genius owner and management are all in, ALL IN, on Watson. The same Watson who threw some good screens and short passes against a completely depleted Raiders defense yesterday, and couldn't execute when it mattered, at all. Don't watch the replay, game sucked. Raiders just so-so, Browns just bad.
People that think the 49ers are trading Aiyuk for Adams are dreaming. Rodgers usually gets what he wants which is why the Jets will probably grab him...
Seems inevitable to me too. I'm guessing it will take more than a week though, because Adams is out with a hammy. But the Jets are desperate to win, now, all in for now, now, now. So they will give the Raiders the 2nd round pick, and eat the dead money tied to the contract the Raiders want to jettison, to build for the future.

Lions and Bills are also possible. But I think the Jets will just cave to the Raiders demands. I see zero chance Aiyuk goes to the Raiders. Vegas wants draft picks, and cap space to build on.

The latest excuse is "he's being underutilized." I don't know that I'll call the guy a flat out bust. That seems a bit much. But way overhyped and overpaid, that's for sure. Looks to me like he's headed maybe to be the next Carson Palmer, Josh Freeman, Jake Locker. The stats look good. Has some big time throws. A few really impressive drives. But when it comes to winning when it matters, it just never really happens.

Chargers are paying Herbert "take us deep into the playoffs, and get MVP votes." type of money. He ain't playing like that, at all.

I thought you wanted the Arizona Bulldozers?

If true I think Saints are better off than the Jets. Saints have an actual chance to win the division and overall I think would be joining a team with less drama. Sure Carr is at odds with Saints management but Rodgers looks to be in an active war (what’s new) and has been causing problems with current teammates. Not to mention how the other players will feel if Adams joins and they start getting pushed to the side more as Adams and Lazard become the focus, which is ironic since Rodgers fans have been complaining Rodgers doesn’t have receivers to throw the ball to. The team also is coming up to a tough part of their schedule and most likely will be 3-5, you know s**t will be popping off.

Another setback, be a fight between Dolphins and Patriots for last in AFCE.

A "bit much" in calling him a flat out bust? Lol. Do you realize he's in his 5th straight year of starting & he has ONE playoff appearance to his name - which was a bad loss to JAX. Lol. He's a 6th OA pick, and like you said he's being paid "take us deep into the playoffs" type dough.

This past game against the Chiefs showed how pathetic he is. The Chiefs came into SoFi lethargic & not bringing their "A" game. Herbert can't even orchestrate a victory with the great defensive performance by the D. Four (4) tries near the goal line late in the 4th to take the lead & Herbert blows it! (and he wasn't underutilized as Harbaugh ran passing plays on 2 out of the 4 downs including 4th dn). Oh...I know, he was playing on a "sore ankle" - so, let's cut him some slack the simps will say. Lol

The have the great Jim Harbaugh now to supposedly make the Chargers winners & SB contenders. But no coach can do that unless they have the right QB to begin with.

Man, he sure did save the day. It's amazing how well Flacco can still play given his age & chronic back problems.

AR dodged a bullet - a minor hip injury & day to day. However, you have to start wondering about these injuries he's getting in just his 2nd yr in the league. Maybe it'll be a great relief if he can make through the season in one piece. He's one of the biggest & strongest QBs out there - his durability shouldn't be coming into question.

Real nice win for Atlanta and Cousins. The NFC south is a very interesting division.
If true I think Saints are better off than the Jets [to land Adams]
It will be tricky though. The Saints have between $2 and $4m in cap space right now. But are $97m over the cap for next year. Yes, you read that correctly, over. The cap is $255, so making a contract work is going to be a real math trick.

Historically stars have some real influence on where they want to play, and who they want to play with, so the Jets seem like a real possibility to me. Aaron gets what he wants. But Carr might have some influence in NO.

As to Justin Herbert and the Chargers, they have a bye, then some very, very winnable games: @DEN, @AZ, NO, @CLE, TEN. They really should come out of that 5-4 at worst, and realistically 6-3. Someone could argue they should win all of those games with their D and him as their star QB of the future. If they don't win most of those, unless he's playing lights out in losses, I'd start thinking about finding a future QB who can.

Rice heads to IR for the Chiefs, but the extent of his knee injury still isn't known (or revealed).

Tough loss for the Bucs in an even match honestly. Falcons definitely happy they were able to tie it after their missed field goal and to get the win in overtime after the close loss to Chiefs. NFCS is wide open for three teams.
And I just saw how many yards Cousins threw while beating Ryan’s previous record! For all his stigma of choking in prime time Cousins played big.

As of this morning, the list of the top 60 all time leaders in career passing yards.

Active players in bold, the + means in the Hall of Fame (HoF)

I think you have to be retired for something like seven years to be eligible for the HoF

So the question is, when the dust settles, who will be the player with the most passing yards NOT in the Hall of Fame.

My bet is Philip Rivers

I agree 100% - it's Rivers by a landslide. Lol. Stafford with a SB win is HoF bound. But Rivers in a 17 yr career has no SB titles. In fact, he doesn't even have a conference championship to his name.
Chargers have 3 in top 20..zero Super Bowl victories.. And list Doesn't have Charger great Johnny Unitas, so how good can the list really be? Lol.
Philip Rivers has the biggest food pantry in NFL history!!He has 10 kids!!!

It's definitely Rivers. It's iffy if Ryan gets in. He did get a team to a SB, and won an MVP. But I doubt Rivers will ever get in, as good as he was at times, and as many big games he had. Blame him, the Charger D, or coaching changes, but I don't see him getting in. Bad playoff losses, especially in 2007 after going 14-2 really hurt. Granted that was a superb game by Brady, but they were up in the 4Q and lost the game. Lost the following year in the AFC Championship to the Pats again. Those losses weren't because of Rivers, but...

Unitas is 20 on that list.

Personally I think a few of those guys could be taken out of the HOF. Warren Moon comes to mind. Gained all those yards throwing between the 10 yard lines and in garbage time. Big time choker in every playoff he ever got to, or most every big game he was in. If he had been on any other team Troy Aikman would never have made the HOF. I'm guessing Eli will get in, mostly on his last name, but the same there. A couple clutch throws, and plenty of bad interceptions, and bad games over a long career. Big Ben is another who will probably get in by having a very long career, and riding two two teams to SB wins, both of which were won by the skin of their teeth. Bob Greise doesn't really belong. And one can argue Joe Namath doesn't. Big time player in a huge game, but after that his career wavered, lots of bad games, bad seasons as he aged and was banged up. Several other players at other positions got in basically on popularity, potential taken away (like Namath), or logenvity.
