What is wrong with this guy? He ****ed me enough on his bike, great of him to put whole team on the front, when your only (better) rival nearly kills himself.

But when he opened his mouth, jebuss, i can say only this guy has serious problem with his head.
First he decides that Froome is too ****y bike handler to make it through cobbles and he would need serious luck only to survive that stage even without his fractured hand. Well Nibles, Wiggo is far worse bike handler and he was fighting to win Roubaix this year, while being not half as strong as Froome for this TDF.
Great ride by Nibali on that stage, but the irony is,because he went full gas, he needed far more luck to survive that stage than Contador/Froome. Because the truth is, when you ride wet cobbles full gas, there are too many things which can knock you out. Many made laugh of Albertos ride over cobbles, but it should be obvious to anyone, why he CHOSE it to ride it that way- because he knew, they were far bigger threat to his victory than one rider, who never stayed on his wheel on any serious climb.

Secondly, he is smart enough to conclude that Alberto was on top form to long this year, to bring his best to the Tour. Has this guy ever cared to look at Albertos past seasons? He would be shocked to learn Alberto always wins one week races in his good years and he would realized that Albertos basic level is higher than his top form.
Its really tasteless of Nibali to say he would win this Tour with or without Froome/Contador..someone needs to remember him what happened to him in Giro three years ago. Alberto put 6 minutes+ on him, while being on training ride for coming TDF.
As a Contador fan, I am ok when someone says Contador would be beaten by Froome, because there is every chance Froome would climb with him and then smash everyone in TT. But Nibles, come on, this guy was dropped by Alberto anytime on any climb.

And yes Nibalis wins are not on the level of Contador/Froome.
He was powerless against Anton in Vuelta, it was a crash at the end of the race which gave Nibali chance to fight for win..without it he was 2nd rider at best.
Giro last year-simply no real competition, Evans full of his viruses was fighting himself not other riders, Uran? I think he saw snow for the first time in his life and you expect him to be at his best? Who else was there?

Thats surely the only thing he can do better on the bike than Contador. Unfortunately for him he cannot make up lost time in GC with it:p

You misunderstand, this is a disguised invitation thread to post pictures of Nibbles in pink/yellow/red/winning. (no pictures of that awful Astana Italian champ jersey though, those are banned!)

This reads like a badly informed rant. We already have a general thread on Nibali and I have no idea what topics of discussion this thread is meant to bring up. We don't need to go around starting new threads just to post our opinions of riders. And judging by the OP's follow up posts I can already tell it is likely to create problems between posters.

Closed.

And, disclaimer: my closing this thread has absolutely nothing to do with being a fan of Nibali, I would do the same if it was about Froome or Wiggins.
