Funny how quiet the police investigation of Europcar was as opposed to David Millar, for example. Still, every good Frenchman will tell you French athletes never ever dope. Then every good Frenchman will follow up that statement with :p:cool::D

Yes, or as compared to the 2000 investigation of Actovegin.

Still, why would anyone ever be suspicious about any Frenchman that wins the polka dot?

Right Richard?

Dave.

You should know better than this Pugdog.

Don't confuse a legitimate effort to install an anti-doping culture with the untruthful statement that the French don't believe French athletes dope (smileys or not).

So does Rolland have carte blanche to shoot for the podium next July now? And petit blanc Voeckler to win Liege?

Why did they carry out the investigations in the first place?

I think Millar was caught red handed, so it is not a similar situation.

UCI no needles policy is rapidly becoming a joke if not enforced.

This one, then the photo of Wiggins with his plaster in the TdF.

Another case of UCI not managing by their own rule book.

The UCI didn't handle this one - the French police did, since doping in sports was made illegal in France. We've been hearing this rumor for months now - I hope it is not omerta - and I will continue to cheer for Tommy and Pierre. But I also know by now not to expect that a bust won't ever happen.
