lol, who cares. one thing I notice is how pathetically nationalist norwegians are here. remind me of the danes in early 2000s. only all their talents wound up sucking :eek:
 
We should definitely make a new thread every time a u23 rider wins a race :p

Seriously though, the guy is 22. Winning here only means that he could possibly become a professional, nothing more.

I totally agree. But I think it's good for the sport that smaller nations like Luxembourg, Slovakia, Norway, Slovenia, Portugal etc are doing well. It's too much dominance from Belgium, Italy and Spain. I would also like to see more countries outside Europe come in to the sport.

But still I mean we need some more top contenders on the highest level from other parts of the world than Europe. I guess if the economic regression continues in Europe the teams have to look in Asia and Africa for riders - that can be interesting

there can only be so many top class riders in the world. we can't have 50 top riders from 50 different countries.

cycling has like 4 or 5 absolute world class riders, contador, cancellara, gilbert, cavendish and they are all from different countries :)
