Basso for the GC.

Dan Martin is the biggest name in this race IMO, but he is not in the top shape, that's why he skipped TdF.

I'm surprised Danielson, Dennis and Millar are not in Garmin's roster. I thought they were all having a possibility of riding TdF so should be in decent form here. Garmin with pretty much a sprinter roster.

Danielson didnt want to do the Tour himself as he lacked form and needed to do some proper training. He is now preparing and hoping to get back to last years level again for the American races (Utah, Colorado). Think Millar might lack some motiviation, dont know whats wrong with Dennis.

Hoping for Henao here, surprised that Dombrowski did not start he has been training in Austria for a while and was on the startlist before, he has knee troubles again?

Ahh, it makes sense for Danielson. So he doesn't think about Vuelta anyway?
It's a shame he isn't in form, he would be an asset for Talansky at the TdF looking at their roster.

I wonder if Morton will ever stop finishing in grupetto every mountain stage? He did it the whole 2013 and then bang in Utah and USA Pro Cycling Challenge, and then again back to it for the whole year. I know he is still young, but there are riders at his age who show good form more consistently.

PK, Switfty and Wiggo should have been at the tour:mad:

I'd much rather see them winning races than riding on the front of the Sky train to support Froome. If Kennaugh can get a good result in Austria then he should get leadership in Poland, much better for him than just riding the Tour for the sake of riding the Tour.

Kennaugh has had an utterly bizarre season. Either very good or very bad/DNF'ing.

Let's see if he can win or podium this race before saying Sky made a mistake. If his season is anything to go by then he will now either lose 20 minutes on a stage or not finish the race due to illness.
