I'd like to propose a new game on this forum which is an appetizer for a game I intend to do next year.

You will have to choose a rider for each race till the end of season.
Each rider will earn points based on his final rank in the race.
You're allowed to choose only once a rider until the end of the game.
The exception is for stage races where you can bet a rider only once in the stage race (for example you can bet on Gilbert on the Tour of Lombardia + one stage on the Franco-Belge + one stage on the Tour of Beijing)

This seems a little confusing, especially with the points score and also once we pick a rider for the overall or stage victory we can't pick them again for the rest of the competition?

When you pick a rider for the overall, you can't pick him again for the rest of the competition in overall rankings but you can pick him for a stage win.

For example you can pick P.Gilbert to win the Giro di Lombardia.
You can also pick him for a stage win in China (only on one stage)
But you can't pick him for a win overall in China.

It has been made in order to force people to be a little inventive.

As for the points score it is basically the same as the CQ ranking
