I am expecting a very entertaining race, Van der Poel is the favourite after his win in last year's World Championships and the cobbled monuments this year but I would say almost half of the 90 riders at the start can win. A shame not to see Pogacar here but it is how it is.

For Van der Poel to win he will probably need to be in a group early in the race and then drop faster riders in one of the ascents of the Montmartre climb.

Remco can win solo like he did in Wollongong but these time I think the leaders of other teams will react to him making his life more difficult.

A few other riders that I like for this race are Bettiol, Jorgenson, Stuyven and Narvaez.
