Twenty Croatian bicyclists members of Pedalinac bicycle club are on their way to Olympic games in London. They will cycle 3000 km from Zagreb to London through Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and England. The motivation for the trip is based on the ideas that are interwoven in the ideas of Olympic games, such as fellowship and harmony, peace and tolerance,a sound mind in a healthy body and environmental awareness.

In attendance at the see-off ceremony for the 20 cyclers in Zagreb were British
Ambassador David Slinn, British Olympic Association Vice-Chairman Albert Woods and the Croatian parliament's secretary Slaven Hojski who is also the member of the "Pedalinac" club.
British Ambassador Slinn praised the participants in this cycling expedition for their will and
endeavours to embark on a 3,000-kilometre tour to London, adding that London looks forward to welcoming them.

They left from Zagreb on 25.06.2012. and they should be in London on 26.07.2012.

We have been following the boys of the Pedalinac bike club since they left Zagreb on 25 June 2012. Today, after approx. 3000 km and 30 camp stops, they made it London and the Olympic Games! Well done, guys. Lord Michael Bates -- who was in Croatia last year on his "Walk for Truce" -- welcomed them to London. Have a look at some of the pictures from their arrival. Recognise any of these landmarks? Or perhaps one of the Pedalinac boys?
