Wait til the breakaways start going the distance. That will be when we see the Teams Classification start up for real - last year you had Caisse throwing 2 or 3 men in every break searching first for LuLu's GC position then to help Moreau get the KOM, and you had Radioshack chasing them down, or sticking 2 of their own men in the breakaways.

The likes of Sky and HTC will be nowhere on the Teams Classification come the mountains.

I wouldnt say a good battle heating up, more the result of the ttt being reflected in the overall standings.

Scary crashes to both Horner and Wiggins today yikes.
We all wish them speedy recoveries for sure!

The Overall Team Standing has Sky falling from 2nd place to 20th,
and RadioShack moving up into 3rd place overall. (see below):

As you know, the Team Standing is computed by taking the time of the Top 3 riders from each team/stage and keeping a cumulative total.

For example, Radioshack had three riders in the front group today - KLÖDEN, MURAVYEV, and ZUBELDIA. They lost no time in the Team Standing.

If Team Radioshack end up on the Final Podium in Paris, sure hope that Chris can join them on stage. Maybe Lance too? That would be a crowd pleaser:)

For Leopard it's about how far their third rider drops after he has done his work for Schlecks...Andy and Fränk are surely top two.

In the mountain stages like tomorrow the breakaways shake up the standings a bit. Pinerolo and Gap stages likewise.

the ideal set up for team competition is a host of top 20 gc hopes with no gc leader.

perfectly set up for radioshack and garmin.

garmin's collapse today and the absence of any shackers puts AG2R in a great position
