Paris Correze 2 day stage race starts tomorrow. It's a race that has always interested me and is a pretty hard one to call on who will win.
Stage details are:
Stage 1: 1st August - Contres to Sassay (168.1 km)
Sightly rolling but largely flat stage to Sassay. On paper, one for the sprinters.
Stage 2: 2nd August - Objat to Chaumeil (170.2 km)
Startlist can be found at:
http://www.cyclingfever.com/editie.html?detp=view&_ap=startlijst&editie_idd=MjMyMzE=
Notably sprinters for stage 1 are likely to be Cantwell, Hinault, Blythe, Blain/Downing and Bonnet.
Stage 2 favours the punchuers in the race and will likely decide the overall. Really hard to predict a winner but standout names for GC on paper appear to be Duque (Cofidis), Gadret and Nocentini (AG2R), Wyss and Kohler (BMC), JTL/Camano (Endura), Feillu and Hivert (Saur) and Charteau (Europcar).
Can JTL continue his dominance of French stage races?
