Matin not in tip top form yet is he. I call Wiggins.

And yet he still managed to match wiggins in Algarve and he should be in better form now....

Martin is the better TT'er.

Better form? So is Wiggins..
Thats exactly my point.
Wiggins may be in better form than he was previously but i think the improvements are more for Martin than for Wiggins as Martin was indeed much poorer than Wiggins in Algarve and so there is more range for him as he was further away from his top form than Wiggins was (as shown by the fact that Wiggins was spared from the sky monster for Porte)

So now he was much poorer? He matched Wiggins in your post 10 minutes ago? What is it going to be? Neither of them are close to top form, noone has peaked which means (since Wiggins was in better form than Martin in Algarve) that he still has the edge.

The great thing about the rider's form though is that neither of us know the riders form.

He matched Wiggins in TT where you admitted yourself that he is better so logically his form was worse (question is by how much) than Wiggins, his perfomance on the queen stage also suggested poor form as opposed to Wiggins who could have probably podiumed if he hadn't been working for Porte

Well, that's what I've been saying the whole time? This is what I wrote to begin with? "Matin not in tip top form yet is he. I call Wiggins."

If their forms are status quo from Algarve then Wiggins should win. Luckily we don't know that and many other factors fits in.

Yeh but imo it is harder to increase in fitness the closer you get to peak so Wiggins would have slowed a bit more than martin so logically Martin should beat Wiggins in the TT (though certainly not overall) also if you consider that Martin technically should have beaten Wiggins in Algarve if it wasnt for a dog.

That's a stupid discussion neither of us know anything about but Martin and Wiggins themselves.

I guess youre right, though Wiggins has been talking up his chances of winning whilst Martin has been talking down his chances so no guesses as to who is on better form

Wiggins looks pretty good for the prologue. Also up there should be Van Garderen, Menchov, Martin, and Valverde. Does anyone know if this is an early season goal for Menchov? He could get the win based on his form in andalucia.
