Quintana without a doubt, I think he'll turn out to be a once in a generation type rider.

And Fugslang? Really? he doesn't deserve to be on a poll with those names.

Obviously Quintana. Didnt think he would be in the poll so didnt write it before his name came up.

Porte is the wildcard though.

Although i like at least 5 riders on that list more than him, i voted TJVG, based obviously on his TT pedigree. Nairo a close second, although i dont think he will ever do well on a flat long itt, and every gt has one or two.

What is Failsang doing there?

Quintana is the obvious choice for me, just edging Betancur. At least for mountainous editions of the GTs. Porte and Van Garderen will be tough contenders when there are more TT kms included.

Why not put Uran in instead of Birdie?
He [Birdsong] might've been considered the new big (Danish) GT guy, a few years back. Now he's sorta... too old to be an up-and-coming rider.

And of course I read that as "Just eating Betancur."

Fuglsang, probably the best paid rider beside TJVG here.

Solid work by the agent, gotta say.

I forgot Kwiatkowski

very good call.
He's got the whole package: mountains, hills, tts. I'd take him over Quintana although we don't know much about his recovery over three weeks.

Why all of these votes for Nairo?

Quintana is a great climber... but not that good in Time Trial.

The MTT of País Vasco have confused the people and the perspective of reality i think.

IMHO the most solid GT rider at the moment is TEJAY VAN GARDEREN.
