Crazy how Rog always comes back stronger after injuries. Some cyclists go to altitude to peak, Rog just gets injured. The end results is he now has 4 Vueltas and 1 Giro with a Tour podium. All that in the last 5 years.

The Vuelta is a consolation prize for Rog. He'd probably trade at least 3 of those Vuelta wins for a Tour, and maybe all of them.

I don't know if you can say he's stronger after injuries, more like he gets time off to keep training in a controlled way while his rivals are beating each other up on the racecourse.
