Pro Cycling Manager 2010

I'm very sorry if this topic has come up before in other threads, but I don't think it has.
I bought Pro Cycling Manager 2010 for the PC a couple of weeks ago, I've played some of the other series as well so I thought it would be some fun.
I finished a season but I have a few problems with the game and I am wondering if anyone who has played it before has had problems with it as well. My problems include: there are no new stages of races such as the Giro after one year of career; I can't buy any new riders after the 15th of October; and I can't change the database.
If any of you know some answers to these problems, please enlighten me.

Yes, it's true. Unfortunately the route of the Grand Tours remains the same (2010 edition) as you progress. I'm in the third season and nothing changes. In the previous PCM they changed the course every year, including stages from the 2007 and 2008 editions and also changed races like Paris-Nice and Tirreno-Adriatico.

As for the transfers after that date, i can't help you because i always have the complete roster (30 riders) by October 1st...

There is a transfer window from 1st July. Offer the contract on that day so other teams don't sign them.

Yeah, in the previous editions they did change it, bad news that they don't do it now. I'll find some solution for the transfers, but thanks for the info!

I've had the game for a couple of weeks now, my laptop isn't powerful enough to run the 3D version, so I go with the detailed sim which is a big step in the right direction.
Not experienced any of the problems described above, really enjoying the game aswell.
