Puerto RE Mancebo & Sevilla

With them both getting some good results for Rock Racing lately, I was wondering what their status is concerning Puerto, doping, etc.

I know they were both implicated but don't recall any actual sanctions being brought. Seems to me that they just got blacklisted by everyone (except Rock, of course)--an unofficial sanction that never ends.

Anyone have more info?

Correct - no sanction.

Like lots of riders they were implicated in Operation Puerto - but since that investigation went nowhere and the UCI sat on their hand it has been left in limbo.

Their 'guilt' is by association. When Liberty Seguros pulled out this sent shockwaves through the team managers.
T-Mobile got all their riders to sign a declaration that they had not been to Spain or visited Fuentes - as they were scared T-Mobile would pull their sponsorship too.

Both Ullrich and Sevilla were proven to have had indeed been to Fuentes so they were withdrawn from the Tour.
This forced other teams to do the same - Basso was next to go and then AG2R sent Mancebo home.

The only 'convictions' for anyone implicated with Fuentes was Basso, Scarponi and recently ValVerde. This wasn't done through the UCI but through CONI in Italy- so don't expect Rock Racing to send Mancebo or Sevilla to any races in Italy.
