  • I don't care about the color of the site. Just change it back. Even if the whole site is purple.

This is a multiple-choice Poll. You can choose more than one answer. It's prompted because I feel sick to my stomach when I visit the main site and see so much purple. It's purple everywhere. It's purple overload. Ugh! How about a cleaner look?... It's ok here in the forums. It doesn't make such a statement here, but on the home page and all the other pages? Yuck! Please change it! The nice bold blue text on white backgrounds looked much cleaner on the old site. Thanks for voting!

Compared to all the functional issues, the purple, though hideous, is a relatively minor thing. I can certainly live with that. The inability to even be able to tell whether I have read all the latest news is a much bigger problem.

The thing about cycling news that makes it different from other news, even general sports news, is that one can literally report and read ALL the news. The old website was framed on this fundamental fact; this new design seems to be oblivious to it, and tries to treat cycling news like any other news.
