pyrenees in early october - good time to ride there ?

anyone know whether this is a decent option - thinking of riding these mountains in a few weeks - in general is this a good time or will the likelihood be that the temp and climate will be uncomfortable / hostile ???

I rode through their late October last year and generally it was fantastic. When it is fine it is amazing with the autumn colours and cooler days, though on the days it was wet it was pretty feral, but never too cold to ride. It rained i think 2 days out of the 10 i was there. Also not much traffic and getting accomodation is v easy.
