The team Quickstep bus has been siezed by french police and transported to la roche sur yon.

No news yet on why (but putting it in the clinic anyway)

Probably no road tax and unroadworthy tyres or something.

I am reading that it's more than a bus.

I love this sport but recently it's been making me sick.

Edit: routine check it seems

Carrying your dope on your bus is so yesterday. I heard the left indicator was not functioning. Routine traffic stop...

Well that's gonna throw a wrench into it...

Maybe Sven S had more Belgian contacts than were originally thought...

Quickstep is doing it wrong. Everyone knows that you are supposed to have an old buddy bring the goods in by private jet with the fuel paid for by chumps who think they are fighting disease.

Maybe Quickstep was using the old "broken down bus" ploy and the gendarmes figured this out.

Have they actually found anything? Being searched in itself is hardly news, except if they actually find something.
It's news in that it's going to scare the hell out of everybody regardless of what they find. Wim, Sven and now this. They're going to feel the pressure.

I have to think they were operating on a tip of some kind. Makes little sense to just impound one bus with no other information.

When it means being pulled over at the side of the road and boarded, a search isn't much. When it means being impounded and taken to a secure police facility under escort, it might mean a bit more...
