Interesting graph. It shows who's been most consistent over the years and who are more up and down with results. How an injury or an off year can affect some riders (specifically Froome and Sagan) while those same things had less of an effect on Valverde.

What ranking is the infographic based on? If it is the UCI Individual World Ranking then what have you done with the historic data to ensure comparability between the different seasons? And what is the reason for choosing UCI's official system ahead of other custom rankings?

Nice. Sagan's 2016 season was really something else. Way ahead going into October, then capping it off with a world title.

I don't understand this chart. Why is Chaves locked at 2583 poins for years and others go up and down?. He has been awful over the last three years.

Suprising to still see GVA up so high in the rankings. My gut feel wouldn't have put in in the top 10 riders of the year
