How good was this years edition?

I think it was pretty anti-climatic. Some good action early with Boonen's attacks plus a number of others later in the race. Enjoyed the moment where Vanmarcke was attacked to close the gap down and Cancellara attacked to get up to him, and Sagan's attacks to make it into the front group. But action overall kinda fizzled out as they neared the end. Cancellara and Vanmarcked definitely should have tried more IMO.

Boonen one of the biggest animators of the race, especially early.

And great move by Terpstra.

Overall, I rate it a 7.

I've no clue how to rate this. If stybar, Boonen or Wiggins won this it would be a 10, now i've no idea.

That moment when they were with 10 guys at 8 km....It's been a while since i've laughed so hard

6 For me... Underwhelming finale, though maybe Terpstra was just on another level. Got to say I'm happy to see Brad survive for a top 10.

Better than De Ronde, in my opinion.
So, if De Ronde poll options were 9 and over, it's 10.
Packed with action almost from Arenberg, very tactical, some say: "disappointing finale", but I say - absolutely appropriate epilogue and deserved winner.
My only remark stands on lieutenants that didn't respond to Terpstra's attack (and here I agree to certain extent with those disappointed). It would have been some pinnacle if they could.

I went for 8, probably giving it a nationalistic bonus for having some brits more or less in contention.

I'm rating it compared to Paris-Roubaix of course - this race is always one of the best days of racing in the year, so it's hard to show up as truly exceptional.

A 6 for me.

At one stage it looked like it was going to be an 8 or 9 but it never developed. But a 6 in Paris Roubaix is like an 8 or 9 in most other races

So if they had taken turns in the group behind (other than the QS guys obviously) and Terpstra still won with a sprint behind, it'd have been a 8 or a 9?
Add one for actually being able to watch the sprint with better camerawork and one for it coming down to the velodrome, yeah could have been a 9.

Gave it a 5. happy with the winner, as my team won (and Terpstra is really deserving this), but still, weird race, no selection, Belkin raced very bad. No one countering Terpstras attack was a big wtf moment.

8, could have been 9 if the group just didn't let go Terpstra like "meh, don't wanna go, don't wanna get countered". That's what you get for individualism.

I gave it a 7. I was glad to see Terpstra ride away late, and to not have it come down to a sprint. It is miles (sorry kilometers) ahead of watching Fabio off the front for 178436K solo. I would have rated it higher if the chase had been more organized in trying to catch Terpstra, but all in all, I thought it was a great race.

You'll only get a 10 out of me for P-R if it rains. Period.
