OK Daotec is no longer there, so I take his thread back. :D

Kevin Pauwels wins first Euro cross of the season, Steenbergcross in Erpe-Mere. Very glad he wins this one. :)
Sweet revenge on fate, seven years after brother Tim's tragic fall on that same circuit. :(

Nys punctured in the last lap, otherwise he would probably have won.

1. Kevin Pauwels (Sunweb-Revor) in 1u01:50
2. Sven Nys op 0:11
3. Klaas Vantornout 0:29
4. Dieter Vanthourenhout 0:51
5. Niels Albert 1:20
6. Sven Vanthourenhout 1:43
7. Vincent Baestaens 1:57
8. Joeri Adams 2:04
9. Radomir Simunek (Tsj) 2:19
10. Jan Denuwelaere 2:37

In the last lap shoulder to shoulder between Pauwels and Albert to catch Nys' wheel, Albert took it but then was unable to keep it. Had Pauwels kept Nys' wheel it might have been different but the best won, I think.
