Only a few scenarios come to mind that may have inspired your curiosity.

A) You've recently become aware of another forumite forwarding personal details of other forum members through PM.

B) You've recently become aware of another forumite forwarding personal details of you, thehog, to other forum members through PM.

C) You, yourself, have acquired personal details of another forum member and wish to share those with select others through PM.

Is there another possibility that eludes me at the moment?


Wherever this may lead us, please don't tell me that this is just a screen name!

I'd say it depends on how offended you are. Some people like Durianrider or coachfergie obviously have no issue, or even encourage it.

If you are uncomfortable with people knowing your real ID then it should be a hefty ban for the perp IMO.
