Riders' Association calls for establishment of independent anti-doping commission
"Bugno will request that at least one member of any such independent anti-doping commission is nominated by the CPA"

Is this a joke, a misinterpretation by CN, or does Bugno not understand the meaning of the word "independent"?

Just what he cycling world needs, another 'independent' committee stacked with representatives of the key parties with vested interests!

Bugno is part of the problem we have in cycling. He needs to go, before CPA can start to gain any level of credibility.

Whatever thoughts people have about Bungo, this is yet another vote of no confidence in the UCI.

CPA aren't happy, AIGCP isn't happy, Rabobank and skins aren't happy, the fans aren't happy, major cycling media outlets are publishing manifestos, ex and current riders are calling for resignations.......

You would think the UCI would realize it has a problem. But instead they have appointed a questionable IOC connected individual to an important role within their independent inquiry.

When the old boys meet up with Bugno again it will be another round of backslapping.

If CPA had leadership on behalf of a clean movement, it would organize rider strikes at races until the current top management at UCI leaves.
